The team assists the family, if they so desire, by walking them through the funeral liturgy helping them make appropriate selections of readings and songs, readers, gift bearers, pall bearers, cantor, etc. We print a funeral program and team members are at the church to welcome family and friends of the deceased. The focus of the spiritual direction relationship is the directee's experience of God in his or her life and prayers, and the way that communication happens between God and the directee. Life circumstances and struggles may be discussed in spiritual direction sessions. Problem solving, however, is NOT the focus of spiritual direction. Regular meetings with a spiritual director help one to pay attention and to become aware of God in self, others, events, all of life! Contact: Fran Beshada 732-721-2828 Liturgy Planning Group: Meets the second Monday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Parish House to plan Sunday masses and other liturgical celebrations. Eucharistic Ministers: Eucharistic Ministers are those who have been delegated by the Pastor to distribute the consecrated Eucharist, whether at Mass, during communion services, or to the sick and homebound Christians.
